Waleed Abdul Rahman Bukhatir
Waleed Abdul Rahman Bukhatir is a Business Administration graduate from the American University of Dubai in 2002.
He joined the Bukhatir Group in the same year as a trainee in one of the manufacturing companies of the group, BUCOMAC Industries, which specializes in Concrete and block manufacturing.
Over the following three years, Waleed Bukhatir and his team succeeded in expanding BUCOMAC operations into three new geographical areas in the UAE, adding new production lines for masonry blocks, insert thermal blocks, and paver-interlock products.
Today, BUCOMAC is an industry leader, with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology in Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Hamriyah Free Zone.
In 2014 Waleed Bukhatir was promoted from the Managing Director of Bucomac to Chairman of the Board of Bucomac Industries.
Also, Waleed Bukhatir has been assigned the position of Managing Director of ULO Systems LLC, which specializes in Offshore Grouting and Concrete Specialists ─ a new task aimed to seize further growth opportunities in the Local and international markets.
In the Government sector, Waleed Bukhatir holds the position of Second Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also a member of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry ─ which consists of only two members from each Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UAE. He’s also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Sharjah Economic Excellence Award.
In the sports arena, Waleed Bukhatir is a member of the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) and Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Club. As the Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Cricket Club, he’s responsible for promoting the venue to conduct international matches in Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
