Founded in 1976, Touchwood initiated its operations as an in-house joinery division of Eastern International, one of the most reputed construction firms in the region.

In 1992, owing to its growth, Touchwood branched out to become its own entity, quickly establishing itself as a leading regional interior contracting firm, specializing in interior fit-outs, FF&E and joinery works for luxury hotels and commercial properties.

Driven by innovation and interaction, the brand is increasingly establishing a reputation synonymous with producing creative, energy-driven interior designs.

Touchwood takes pride in having obtained the ISO 9001 certificate in 2003, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 in 2009, FSC Chain of Custody in 2011, and AWI certification 2014-15.

Our Capability 

Though Touchwood entered the market as a joinery contractor, within a short span of time, it had started taking up total turnkey interiors, shop interiors, hotel interiors, FF&E, and soft furnishing projects and gradually became the preferred interior design firm of clients and consultants, where their primary requirements were fast turnaround, with guaranteed, high quality output.

At present, the company’s state-of-the-art facility, covering 110,000 sq. Ft. in Sharjah, has recently been transformed and completely modernized. Additionally, Touchwood has acquired the latest machinery, making the company one of the most sophisticated manufacturers of the wooden joinery and finishing industry.

In the Hospitality and Leisure Sector, the interiors of Grosvenor House, Le Royal Meridien Resort & Spa, Madinat Jumeirah, Media One at Media City, Al Maha Desert Resort, Hilton Beach Club, Hotel Kempinski at the Mall of Emirates, Abu Dhabi Grand Hotel, Le Royal Meridien at Dubai Marina, Le Meridien Redevelopment at Dubai Airport Road, Burj Al Arab, Anantara Hotel Apartment Condo-1 and Condo-2 at Palm Jumeirah, St-Regis at Al Habtoor City Dubai, and many more have been rendered artistically by us by giving life to the designers’ imagination.

In the Retail sector, Touchwood is registered as a preferred vendor in all major shopping malls and has carried out projects for Paul Smith, Marc Jacob, Biotherm, Standard Chartered Bank, Rivoli, Tanagra, Chanel, the Grand Stores, Lucky Jeans, ST Dupont, Fendi, Kenzo, Caroline Herrera, Lacoste, Etoile, Hacket, Ralph Lauren Retail Showrooms and many more.
